After coming to the attention of a wider public with his band QUANTUM JUMP, Rupert signed as a solo artist to A&M Records and recorded a trio of superb and highly innovative albums between 1981 and 1983. “Immunity”, “Waving Not Drowning” and “The Wildest Wish to Fly” featured some of the most original music of the 1980s, music which remains startlingly fresh. The albums also featured guest contributions from musicians of the calibre of ROBERT PALMER and PHIL COLLINS. Unshy On The Skyline is Rupert Hine's compilation of his own favourite songs from this period - his personal pick of the tracks that represent the heart of what he aimed to across the trio of albums. Superbly re-mastered by acclaimed engineer Stephen W Tayler, (who engineered the original recordings), “Unshy on the Skyline” features the highlights of this trio of albums and a booklet with an essay and note by Rupert Hine.
